HeartKick, May 2008
A lot of prominent sport stars, musicians and actors came together on Saturday (May, 31st) on the “Gelsenkirchener Glückauf-Kampfbahn” for HeartKick 2008, a charity soccer tournament. More than 1000 guests visited the sports event, in the “Schalke” stadium with its long tradition.
The eight soccer games offered a lot of excitement and goals for the visitors. The opening game between the Team HeartKick and the ShowBiz Allstars, consisting of Willi Herren, Toto & Harry, Oliver Petszokat, Dustin Semmelrogge, Patrick Bach, Frank Neuenfels, Nick Gordon, Chris Alexandros, Mike Bauhaus and Bodo Kuhnhenn, Ole Stein, Dirk Baumann (last three from Masterflex AG), Jörg Hansmann und Michael Kastner (last two from SAM Media), ended in a defeat of the ShowBiz Allstars. A highlight was the spot kick final between the ShowBiz Allstars and Team Entertainment for rank five. Actor Dustin Semmelrogge failed with the first kick against keeper Jörg Edner who regularly plays for Teutonia Schalke. In the opposing team the keeper, the tv police officer Harry, was out of luck. And Frank Neufels, Patrick Bach and Harrys police colleague Toto hit the goal but Oli Petszokat missed the last kick. Directly after the final whistle, the award ceremony took place. The cups for the ranks 1 to 3 were handed over by children from the child hospice “Arche Noah” from Gelsenkrichen. The HeartKick challenge cup was handed over by Tilo Kulmann (HeartKick) to Viktor Pasulko, the captain of team Worldstars Paradiso.
Also next to the court a lot of events were offered. A program for kids, a fashion show with Italian models who presented designs from the sports clothing manufacturer Legea. Most celebrities gave autographs and made some fans very happy by having their picture taken. Especially famous with young females were the boy group Lexington Bridge and the singer Martin Stosch, which were performing on the stage.
The result of the charity will this time not be completely inured to the benefit of one organization, several organizations like “Vereine Herzenswünsche”, “Internet-Bärchen” and “Traumwolke” and last but not least the children hospice “Arche Noah” will get a share. “HeartKick” wants to launch different own supporting events in order to support needing and sick children in Gelsenkirchen.
More than 20.000 € were raised during the last two years with the HeartKick soccer tournaments. It won't be any different in 2008 although the raised amount for 2008 is yet unknown, it will be announced soon.
“Heart Kick e.V” wants to present a smile for people who feel not well. ExCLOsiv is glad to support HeartKick! We would be glad, if you would also support that charity! Thank you!
